The screen turns off. Settings → Keep the screen on. For a whole night, keep the iPhone on the charger.

The timer did not notify me. Allow notifications for Hourfield in iOS Settings → Notifications.

The alarm switch turns itself off. Allow alarms for Hourfield in iOS Settings → Hourfield (iOS 26 or later).

Too much motion. Settings → Motion → Direct, or turn on Reduce Motion in iOS: Hourfield then changes digits without spinning.
